Both products give each guest a browser camera from a QR code. Lense surrounds that camera with more ways to contribute and display media; OurFilm keeps the finite roll as the whole experience.

The products start similarly, then diverge

In either product a guest can scan, enter the event and begin taking pictures without installing an app. Both can preserve the feeling of a limited camera.

Lense then adds flexibility. Guests can contribute pictures already on their phones, hosts can select visual effects, every event includes a live slideshow, and paid add-ons can enable videos or remove the standard 25-capture limit.

OurFilm does not offer those escape routes. The selected 5, 10, 16, 24 or 36 frames stay finite. A committed photo has no preview or retake, and only new still photographs enter the event film.

Reveal and privacy

OurFilm gives the host two development choices: reveal immediately or when the event ends. The final gallery can be hidden from guests, remains unindexed and is available to the host as a ZIP download.
