A wedding photo sharing app should solve one simple problem: your guests take hundreds of photos, but most of them never reach you. OurFilm gives everyone one private event camera, opened through a QR code or link, so those candid moments become part of the same story.
It is not another group chat and it is not an open upload folder. Each guest gets a fixed roll of shots and takes photos inside the event camera. There is no app to install, no guest account to create and no camera-roll upload to explain.
How OurFilm works
- Create your wedding film and choose when the camera closes.
- Give each guest 5, 10, 16, 24 or 36 shots.
- Choose whether photos appear immediately or when the event ends.
- Share the event QR code or private link.
- Guests enter their name and start shooting in their mobile browser.
- Download the finished gallery as a ZIP after the wedding.
There is no preview and no retake. Guests press the shutter, use one frame and move on. That small constraint is what makes the experience feel closer to a disposable camera than a shared cloud folder.
Why couples use a guest photo app
A professional photographer captures the ceremony, portraits and the moments that cannot be missed. Guests see something different: the table jokes, the quiet reactions, the journey to the venue and the dance floor from inside the crowd.

The QR code can be printed on table cards, placed near the bar or shared in the wedding group before the day. The important part is timing: guests should meet the camera while the event is happening, not in a reminder sent a week later.

Private by default
Each OurFilm event has a private, unindexed address. The photo storage is not a public folder, and the host can decide whether guests are allowed to see the gallery. Unwanted photos can be hidden before the final album is shared.
No guest registration is required. A guest gives a display name so their roll and photos can be identified inside that event; they do not need to create an OurFilm account.
Photos worth keeping
OurFilm keeps high-resolution, print-ready versions for the final download. It does not claim to preserve untouched camera originals: images are prepared for reliable venue uploads while retaining enough detail for prints.
The couple can download the complete album in one ZIP file instead of saving photos individually from messages.
Free for a small test event
An event can be used free with up to five participants. Every participant still gets the roll length chosen by the host. The one-time event upgrade removes the participant cap, but it does not remove the per-person shot limit — the finite roll is part of the format.
There is no subscription and guests are never asked to pay.
Is OurFilm the right kind of photo sharing app?
