OurFilm vs Kululu: Finite Camera or Live Photo Wall?
The short answer: choose OurFilm for a private digital disposable camera with a finite roll and an optional end-of-event reveal. Choose Kululu when a live photo wall, video uploads and an active social gallery are central to the party.
Both services use a QR code and work without a guest app. They create different behaviour: OurFilm makes every shutter press scarce, while Kululu encourages an ongoing stream of media that can appear on a venue screen.
This comparison is published by OurFilm and is not an independent review. Kululu details were checked against its official pricing page and product description on 2026-09-17. Prices, promotions and plan limits may change.

Finite film versus a live event feed
OurFilm is built around restraint. Each participant gets the same host-selected number of frames and cannot preview or retake a committed shot. The camera can close with the event, and the complete film can remain hidden until then.
Kululu is designed for participation in public. Photos and videos can appear on its Live Photo Wall as guests contribute them. That makes the collection itself part of the entertainment and works well when a projector or television is already planned.
What each product leaves out
OurFilm does not provide video, captions, a live slideshow or an unlimited-shot mode. It also does not accept files from the phone library. It keeps the guest journey focused on taking a new photo.
Kululu does not use a fixed per-person film roll as its defining rule. Its free and paid plans instead control the total upload allowance, active period and storage period. If scarcity is the creative mechanism you want, those are not equivalent experiences.
Pricing models
Kululu has a free tier and paid Plus and Pro plans. The official page lists different upload allowances, active periods and retention periods, and it may show temporary promotional prices. Check the live total rather than relying on an older comparison.
OurFilm is free for up to five participants. Its one-time event purchase removes the participant cap but does not remove the finite roll.
Choose Kululu when
- a live venue photo wall is part of the programme;
- guests should contribute videos as well as photos;
- captions and an active shared feed are useful;
- you prefer a total upload allowance to a per-person shot limit;
- the album should entertain people during the event.
Choose OurFilm when
- every guest should receive a specific roll length;
- no preview and no retake are important rules;
- the first look should wait until the event ends;
- you want a quieter, private photo-only experience;
- a complete ZIP is enough after the event.
- Do Kululu and OurFilm require guests to install an app?

- Does OurFilm have a live photo wall?
