Kululu Alternative for Weddings: OurFilm
OurFilm is a Kululu alternative for weddings that want a finite digital camera instead of a live photo-sharing wall. Guests scan one QR code and take a limited number of new photographs directly in their browser.
The short answer: choose OurFilm for a no-preview wedding roll that can stay hidden until the event ends. Choose Kululu when photos and videos should appear in a live venue slideshow and shared digital album.
This comparison is published by OurFilm, so it is not an independent review. Kululu features and plan limits were checked against its official pricing page and product description on 2026-09-17. Prices and promotional discounts may change.

What Kululu adds
Kululu turns guest uploads into a live event display. Photos and videos can appear on its Photo Wall as they arrive, then remain in a shareable digital album. Guests can add captions, and hosts can customise the event's appearance.
Its current plan structure starts with 50 free uploads, then offers 500 uploads on Plus and unlimited uploads on Pro. Storage and active-event windows also increase by plan. Kululu is the stronger choice when the feed itself is part of the reception entertainment.
What OurFilm keeps different
OurFilm is not a live wall. It gives each participant a fixed roll of 5, 10, 16, 24 or 36 new photos, with no preview or retake. The host can reveal the combined gallery immediately or wait until the event ends.
There are no videos, captions or existing camera-roll uploads. The constraint is intentional: guests use one shared wedding camera instead of contributing unlimited media to a live feed.
Pricing model differences
Kululu prices its paid plans by total event uploads and storage duration. Its public page currently lists Free, Plus and Pro tiers, with promotions shown separately from regular pricing.
OurFilm is free for up to five participants. One event purchase removes the participant cap, while the host-selected per-person roll remains in place.
When Kululu is the better choice
Choose Kululu if you need:
- a real-time photo wall at the venue;
- guest video uploads;
- captions and a social shared feed;
- hundreds or unlimited total uploads;
- a general event platform for weddings, parties or company events;
- longer storage windows on higher plans.
When OurFilm is the better choice
Choose OurFilm if you want:
- a stricter disposable-camera experience;
- no preview, no retake and a finite roll;
- a reveal delayed until the wedding ends;
- still photography without captions or social interaction;
- one private film rather than a live public-facing wall;
- the same creative limit for every participant.
Switching from Kululu
OurFilm cannot import a Kululu album. Download the existing photos and videos, create a new wedding camera and replace the old QR code before printing or sharing it again.
