How guests build the album

Album or wedding film?
The album is the result. The shared camera is the experience that produces it. Guests work with a finite roll, photograph during the celebration and may not see the results until later.
That changes the character of the collection. Instead of selecting only the most polished images from their phone after the wedding, guests contribute the small, immediate moments they noticed while they were there.
Private sharing and host control
The album is not publicly listed. Guests reach it through the event's unguessable QR code or link, and the host decides whether the revealed gallery is visible to them.
The host can review every photo, hide individual images and download the album as a ZIP. The link is still shareable by anyone who has it, so it should stay within the intended wedding group.
Planning the reveal
Choose immediate reveal when browsing the growing album should be part of the reception. Choose end-of-event reveal when you want the disposable-camera surprise and a clear moment to look back together.
Whichever option you use, tell guests what to expect on the QR sign. A short line such as “Your photos will be developed after the party” prevents them from assuming an upload failed when no gallery appears immediately.
What the shared album does not collect
OurFilm currently handles still photographs taken inside its camera. It does not accept videos, voice messages or bulk uploads from an existing camera roll, and it does not provide a live slideshow. A general media gallery is a better choice when those formats are essential.
